Season Summary: Tupelo Middle School girls' basketball had a rough start to their 2006-07 season losing 2 out of the first 3 games. They worked hard to have a 7-4 record at the Christmas break. After returning in January, the TMS girls fought to have a great second half of the season, including a second place finish in the Lafayette County Tournament. Going into the Golden Triangle Athletic Conference Tournament, the Lady Wave was ranked 2nd but an upset was in the making. The TMS Lady Wave beat Aberdeen in the finals to win the GTAC. The Lady Wave finished their season with a 12-6 record and GTAC CHAMPIONS!!!!!
