Tupelo Middle Procedures for Arrival / Departure
Arrival procedure for bus riders
- Buses should arrive at school no earlier than 7:30 a.m.
- Bus riders will unload in the lower parking lot off Hoover Street proceeding to the West.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
- Students will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
Departure procedure for bus riders
- Bus riders will be dismissed at 3:15 p.m. from their 7th period class.
- Students are encouraged to go to their lockers before the end of the school day.
- Bus riders will load in the lower parking lot off Hoover Street proceeding to the west.
- Students are encouraged to proceed quickly to their bus to avoid being left on campus.
- Staff members will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination and assist the students safely aboard.
Arrival procedure for car riders
- Students should arrive at school no earlier than 7:30 a.m.
- Car riders will unload on Varsity Drive in front of the school proceeding east toward Gloster Street.
- For the safety of the students please proceed with caution.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
- Students will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.

- Car riders will be dismissed at 3:15 p.m. from their 7th period class.
- Students are encouraged to go to their lockers before the end of the school day.
- Car riders will load on Varsity Drive in front of the school proceeding east toward Gloster Street.

- Car riders must be picked up by 4:00 p.m. each day unless they are under the direct supervision of a school official in an organized school-sponsored activity or event.

- Daycare bus riders will unload on Varsity Drive in front of the school proceeding east toward Gloster Street.

- Walkers will be dismissed at 3:15 p.m.
- Students are encouraged to go to their lockers before the end of the school day.
- Staff members will monitor students safely off campus.
- Walkers are encouraged to vacate the school campus upon the conclusion of each day unless they are under the direct supervision of a school official in an organized school-sponsored activity or event.
