Tupelo High Procedures for Arrival / Departure

Arrival procedure for bus riders

• Bus riders arrive curbside in front of Attendance office.
• Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
• Grade 10, 11, 12 bus riders will report the cafeteria for breakfast or to the main courtyard.
• Grade 9 bus riders will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to H Commons.
• The warning bell will ring at 7:35 a.m.

In the event of inclement weather, Grade 10, 11, 12 bus riders will report to the gymnasium.  Grade 9 bus riders will report to H Commons.

Departure procedure for bus riders

• Bus riders will load curbside next to the Attendance office.
• Staff members and security officers will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination.

Arrival procedure for car riders

• Campus security officers will monitor students to the appropriate unloading destination and assist in traffic flow.
• Grade 10, 11, 12 grade car riders who are privately transported by a parent or legal guardian will enter the campus from the north parking lot in front of the administrative office.
• Grade 10, 11, 12 grade car riders will report to the cafeteria or the main courtyard.
• Grade 9 car riders who are privately transported by a parent or legal guardian will enter the campus from the east entrance of the school next to H Building and the Tupelo High School Cafeteria.
•  Grade 9 car riders will report to the cafeteria or to H Commons.
• The warning bell will ring at 7:35 a.m.

Students who drive have assigned parking:

• Grade 12 students will park in the north parking lot.
• Grade 10 and 11 students will park in the south parking lot.
• Students enrolled in the Co-Op program and Grade 9 will park in the east parking lot.

Departure procedure for car riders

• Grade 10, 11, 12 grade students who are privately transported by a parent or legal guardian will exit the campus through the north parking lot.
• Grade 9 students who are privately transported by a parent or legal guardian will exit the campus through the east exit of campus.
• Car riders will load curbside.
• Please do not park in the street and interrupt traffic flow.
• Campus security officers will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination and assist in traffic flow.
