Reading Recovery® students are involved with intensive daily reading and writing instruction that complements their regular classroom instruction.
Reading Recovery® is a research based program specifically designed to fit the educational needs of each individual child who may need additional support in becoming an independent reader and writer. In the Tupelo Public School District, the Reading Recovery Program® is a cooperative effort of the Tupelo Public School District, Title I, and The Ohio State University.
Reading Recovery® and small literacy groups are available as early intervention measures to ensure the success for all students.
