Welcome to Thomas Street Elementary School! We are committed to providing our students with the opportunities to make "a world of difference." From August through May, our building is action packed! We stress academic excellence, and students are recognized for "doing the best they can do!" Of course, student success is dependent upon the opportunities and challenges that the school provides. Students have different needs and learning styles, and we realize and embrace our responsibility for supporting students along the road to academic and social achievement.
You'll see different things when you visit our school. Popcorn Fridays are once a month. Family Night/Book Fair is in September; we have dinner together, and then the Media Center is open for the Book Fair. The Fall Festival is huge-food, fun, games, and prizes are everywhere! Family Movie Nights are held once a month when the students bring their sleeping bags and watch a movie together. Our PTA provides fun activities for the kids all year long.
