During the week of February 11th the first grade classes will be studying "Circle" stories, If You Give A Moose A Muffin, If You Give A Pig A Pancake, by Laura Numeroff. The students will be treated to teacher-cooked pancakes and juice one day during the author study. The week will finish with students writing a "Circle" story such as, If You Give A Lion a Lemon. Sounds like the students are going to have fun and have many different experiences in the Language Arts area.
