Check out the pictures below to see how Rankin's PTO shows appreciation to the entire staff!
The week of May 5 is National Teacher Appreciation Week and we've been showered with tokens of our parents appreciation all week. On Monday, we were greeted by parents and students in our classrooms and throughout the entire building with a beautiful bag filled with all our "favorite things" (we filled out a form last week that included this information), on Tuesday, we had a colorful bowl filled with fruit that students brought with a note attached that read "Our praise grows for all you do, so here's a gift to say THANK YOU" and on Wednesday, we were surprised with a vase filled with beautiful flowers from the students (some were even picked from their own yard) with a note attached that read "A bouquet of thanks for you". On Thursday, teachers received oodles of "thank you notes and pictures" from students and parents. AND whew... On Friday, we will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the hands of our PTO board members and other volunteers. We know they're showing their appreciation towards US, but we really appreciate all THEY do, too!
