Our first 2007-2008 Koalaty Kid Celebration will be filled with many students being recognized for their "koalaty (pronounced "quality") behavior and achievement" during the month of September. The celebration will be held on Friday, September 28 at 1:45 in the Activity Building. As an added special, Kids for America - a patriotic musical salute, will be presented. The entire student body, grades K-3, will present some of America's best-loved patriotic songs featuring the 2nd grade CLUBS of Drama, Band, and Flag Corp. This is a culminating event celebrating the anniversary of the U.S. Constitution and our unit of study about our freedoms and liberties in the United States. The U.S. government requires every school in the nation to teach about the Constitution during the anniversary each year. Please join us for this exciting event. Students should wear red shirts and blue jeans. (any type of red shirt will do)
