          Lee County Spelling Bee 

Lawndale sixth grade student, Hannah Lippard, is congratulated by teachers and administrators after winning the Lee County Spelling Bee on February 1.  Lippard was also the first place winner at the Tupelo Public School District Spelling Bee on January 29.  She will represent Lee County and the Tupelo Public School District at the Mid-South Regional Spelling Bee on March 3rd in Memphis, TN.  Pictured from left are Superintendent Dr. Randy McCoy,  Becky Burleson, Teresa Gregory, Hannah Lippard, Cathy Butler, Brenda Morehead, student teacher Joe Benefield, and Lawndale Principal Terry Harbin.
