Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you for reviewing the 2004-2005 No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Report Card for Pierce Street Elementary School. As you prepare to analyze and compare our school’s data with data from the Tupelo Public School District (TPSD) and the State of Mississippi, I would like to highlight some areas for celebration while identifying other areas for focus and growth.
Let me encourage you to examine your student’s individual performance on the Mississippi Curriculum Test as his/her results compare to the various performance group(s) of which he/she is a member. As our school works to strengthen academic performance and achievement for all groups of students, please remember that within any student group, there will be students scoring at the advanced and proficient levels.
