Third grade students in Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Chandler's classes just completed an extended project. In September students choose a state and wrote to the state's travel and tourism office for information about the state. Students studied and researched that state for several weeks. The project ended with a State Exposition. Each student created a project display of information gathered about their state and designed a t-shirt with a state logo and graphic art. Each student acted as a representative of their state and tried to convince people to visit their state.
