The Pierce Street Second Graders have been studying the history of Jazz and famous African Americans. The end of this unit was celebrated at Family Fun night on Tuesday, February 26. The performance highlighted the history of Jazz and its influence on American music. Students sang, danced, played instruments and presented information they learned from research.
