

RED RIBBON WEEK CELEBRATION
OCTOBER 22 - 26
THEME: BELIEVE*ACHIEVE*SUCCEED*DRUG FREE
Monday, October 22: "DRUGS ARE POINTLESS DAY"
Students will discuss the history of Red Ribbon Week. Each student will receive a Red Ribbon pencil, pledge sticker and bracelet.
Tuesday, October 23: "BOOT OUT DRUGS DAY"
Dress in your favourite cowboy or cowgirl attire. Don't forget to wear your boots!!
Wednesday, October 24: "PUT A CAP ON DRUGS DAY"
Wear your craziest hat. The teacher with the CRAZIEST hat will be recognized.
Thursday, October 25: "MIX IT DAY (DRUGS AND I DON'T MIX)"
Wear mismatched clothes. The worst dressed teacher will receive a prize. Classroom banners will be judged and a one winner per grade level will be awarded.
Friday, October 26: "FIGHT AGAINST DRUGS DAY"
Pierce Street will hold it's annual Red Ribbon Parade. Students will wear their Pierce Street t-shirts. The parade will begin at 1:45 a.m. in front of the school.
