Pierce Street's music teacher, Lee Ann Grace, was one of five Mississippi teachers to receive a grant from Office Max on Tuesday. Mrs. Grace was surprised with many supplies to use in her classroom such as a new digital camera, printer, and rolling cart. The supplies totaled about $1200. Office Max gives this grant as a part of a national teacher advocacy campaign aimed at helping teachers with expenses in the classroom. Pierce Street students attended an assembly in the auditorium to celebrate with Ms. Grace.
