We are one of seven schools in the Tupelo Public School District that has the awesome responsibility of educating an average of 350 students enrolled in grades K-3. We have a highly qualified staff dedicated to serving our children. Our dedicated professionals strive to achieve the development of the whole child. Students are valued as individuals and we are dedicated to supporting them to reach their highest potential. Our belief is that students should be the center of all activities. We believe that education is attained through the cooperation of parents, staff, students, and the community. We believe in children. Lawhon Elementary is also supported by a strong community. Evidence of this support is found in a dedicated Parent Teacher Organization that works hard at making the total educational experience at Lawhon the best ever.
