On April 24, 2008 Lawhon Elementary held their second annual Multicultural Fair. This year’s theme was ABC’s Around the World, and students toured museums with exhibits for each letter of the alphabet. The museums focused on Egypt, Italy, Japan, and Kenya. Students saw a mummy from Egypt, were able to view a gondola from Venice, Italy, observe Japanese art, and watch an interactive video in the Kenyan museum. Administration and teachers thought the Multicultural Fair was a success.
