The learning environment at Church Street Elementary School is extraordinary. There is a rich history of excellence and a high standard of learning set many years ago by dedicated teachers and principals. Some very important citizens began their public education at Church Street School. We are dedicated to nurturing our students as they learn and grow. We want them to be strong confident learners and grow up to be contributing citizens of our community, our state, and our nation. We want them to have the skills to communicate, think, and create as members of a global society.
Our greatest strength has been and still is promoting and developing the leadership and abilities of the students and staff. Through professional activities and outside consultants, the staff has developed high professional expectations and standards for themselves. The staff is constantly improving its knowledge in current educational practice. Both professional and curricular goals are directly linked to the achievement of the students. I have been honored to work with extraordinary educators, supportive parents, and delightful children.
Learning is a priority for everyone involved in Church Street Elementary.
