Church Street Elemetary School celebrated its first arts festival, "Art and Soul", on April 18th. Local artists such as musicians, authors, visual artists, potters, jewelry makers, and other craftsmen demonstated their talents and had items for sale. Students had their artwork on display. Church Street Harmony performed as well as choral groups from several other elementary schools. The local band Dusty Vinyl played. There was plenty of food and fun for everyone as we celebrated the arts in our area.
We are looking forward to this being an annual Church Street event.
