Lawndale Elementary’s 2nd annual Turkey Trot was held on November 2nd. Over 600 students and many teachers trotted around the track in front of Lawndale. Students asked for pledges to be given depending on the number of laps they were able to complete in 30 minutes. Over $9,000 dollars was raised by students and teachers. Teachers winning the most laps were Vicky Linder, Amy McDowell, and Joe Benefield.
